Chevron was started back in spring of 2006 with Jack as guitar, Joe as bass, and Thomas Shaheen as drums. They got together over the summer and jammed once in a while. After some lineup changes there was Joe, Jack, and Travis practicing often, writing lyrics, and writing music. Nate would fill in the drums when he came and visited. After a while the band slowly died and fell apart. In fall of 2008 Joe wanted to get things going again. When things were figured out they stood as Joe on bass and vocals, Jack on drums (playing guitar when needed), and Dan Noyes on guitar. They played their first show on December 20th, 2008. In 2009, Chevron started lending their help to Crossed Films in setting up punk shows in NH where kids could mosh and be themselves without too much control. They continued to play a series of Crossed Films shows and similar punk shows in the area until February 2010, when the band broke up.Their passion for music and friendship live on in these videos and in The Dirty Johns, which consists of Dan, Joe, and former Chevron members Thomas and Travis. Jack will be singing and playing guitar in local friends' Ransom Note, and working on his own project, The Starlit Summer.
